Recent Clinton County indictments announced — possessing drugs, theft among the more common charges

WILMINGTON — Drug possession is a frequent charge among recent local indictments, with theft charges also common.

The names, ages, residences, and charges of people recently indicted by the local grand jury are provided below. The alleged criminal activities all reportedly occurred in Clinton County.

• Joseph Britton Hagerman, 30, of Clarksville, was indicted with felonious assault, abduction, domestic violence, and aggravated menacing.

• Brent C. Kiphart, 43, of Wilmington, was indicted with two counts of theft, and one count of forgery.

• Todd Kaser, 49, of Wilmington, was indicted with interception of wire, oral or electronic communication.

• Christina E. Stover, 26, of Blanchester, was indicted with aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs, possessing criminal tools, and possessing drug abuse instruments.

• Brandon E. Burkhart, 29, of Blanchester, was indicted with breaking and entering, and with petty theft.

• Lori K. Crawford, 33, of Blanchester, was indicted with theft, and with receiving stolen property.

• Jon J. Peak, 33, of Sandusky, Ohio, was indicted with grand theft of a motor vehicle.

• Neal N. McKenzie, 38, of Wilmington, was indicted with two counts of burglary, petty theft, and with trespassing in a habitation.

• Joshua T. Villars, 29, of Sabina, was indicted with aggravated possession of drugs, and with attempted tampering with evidence.

• Geoffrey L. Brown, 37, of Wilmington, was indicted with two counts of breaking and entering, two counts of petty theft, and one count of vandalism.

• Zachary Logan Shoemaker, 35, of Wilmington, was indicted with tampering with evidence, aggravated trafficking in drugs, and with aggravated possession of drugs.

• Buddie A. Scarberry, 37, of Wilmington, was indicted with aggravated possession of drugs, and with possessing heroin.

• Katie L. Rice, 32, of Leesburg, was indicted with tampering with evidence, and with aggravated possession of drugs.

• Brandon T. Kessinger, 24, of Hillsboro, was indicted with two counts of aggravated possession of drugs.

• Chelsea R. Sherwood, 25, of Clarksville, was indicted with aggravated possession of drugs.

• Martin B. Howell, 30, of Port William, was indicted with marijuana trafficking and marijuana possession.

• Kevin D. Korleon Artis, 26, of Dayton, was indicted with failing to comply with an order or signal of a police officer.

• Frank A. Moore, 45, of Wilmington, was indicted with aggravated possession of drugs.

• Bridget A. Topping, 35, of Wilmington, was indicted with aggravated possession of drugs.

• Anthony Wayne Woody Jr., 37, of Wilmington, was indicted with tampering with evidence, assault, possessing drug abuse instruments, and with resisting arrest.

• Arthur Romer Macke III, 46, of Port William, was indicted with aggravated possession of drugs.

• Ryan Michael Hatley, 34, of Blanchester, was indicted with two counts of burglary. In the case, he later pled guilty to trespassing in a habitation, an amended charge.

• Melissa L. Argueta, 36, of Washington Court House, was indicted with aggravated possession of drugs, and with possessing heroin.

• Kimberly Hildebrecht, 45, of Hillsboro, was indicted with two counts of theft of drugs and two counts of illegal processing of drug documents.

• Eunice R. Palmieri, 49, of Xenia, was indicted with aggravated trafficking in drugs and with aggravated possession of drugs.

• Alex S. Sortwell, 27, of Covington, Kentucky, was indicted with grand theft.

• Eric A. Lucas, 25, of Covington, Kentucky, was indicted with grand theft.

• Elisha L. Wiley, 38, of Milford, was indicted with theft.

• Jackie Hensley, 59, of Williamsburg, Ohio, was indicted with failing to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, and with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (OVI).

• Johnny C. Sorrell, 36, of West Chester, was indicted with attempted burglary, and trespassing in a habitation.
