Friday afternoon on the News Journal website there was a submitted photo of an alligator which a “Cincinnati man claimed he had accidentally caught in Caesar Creek Lake.” It was determined this claim was probably part of a hoax perpetrated to newspapers across the country in which a person has claimed to have caught a gator in various bodies of water. Thanks to an alert reader and WNJ staff for picking up on this. We apologize for any confusion!
