WILMINGTON — Wilmington Veterans Post 49 of the American Legion is now open to the public for lunch, the post announced Wednesday.

The post, at 140 E. Locust St. in Wilmington, will open the lower level of the facility from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. This level may be accessed from the rear parking lot.

In addition to the regular sandwich and side order menu, there is a Daily Special. The featured fare can be found at Post49.org by clicking on the “Daily Lunch Special” tab on the left of the home page or by calling the post at 937-382-2219.

Please note that, pursuant to statute, no alcoholic beverages may be purchased by non-Legion members.
