LEBANON, Ohio — A man who was reported to have disappeared from the Community Corrections Center west of Lebanon Tuesday afternoon is back in custody.

At 9:02 p.m., deputies from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office received a tip as to the whereabouts of Mark Hokanson, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office. It was reported he was possibly at the Shell station at 1280 Hamilton-Lebanon Road in the City of Monroe.

Deputies located Hokanson inside the gas station where he was attempting to use a phone to call for a ride, officials said. He was taken into custody without further incident.

Hokanson was transported to the Warren County Jail where he will be held on an escape charge.
