WILMINGTON — Jansen Dell, Director of Creative Operations for the Cincinnati Reds, spoke to the Wilmington Rotary Club which meets at noon.

Jansen is a graduate of Wilmington High School and Miami University (’04) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design.

He first worked for the Reds as an intern and was hired as a production and design assistant at the end of his internship. He has been Director of Creative Operations since 2013.

Jansen and his staff of three designers and a design intern are in charge of all print media that goes out regarding the Cincinnati Reds. Jansen is also in charge of all architectural changes and signage packages for ballpark renovations.

“The mantra here is always ‘bigger and better and more fan amenities’ because, on the business side of things, we can’t control the play on the field and we can’t control the weather,” he said. “What we can control are the amenities, the experience the fans have when they’re here, making it a family-friendly environment and just making it a fun time.”
