A tribute to the area’s agricultural roots, the “Heritage Harvesters” mural in downtown Wilmington is nearing completion. Located on the historical Fife and Bosworth Building, the artist is Jason Morgan of Yellow Springs. There are plans to hold an official dedication of the outdoor art, said Main Street Wilmington Executive Director Bekah Muchmore. One of the figures in the mural, showing a farmer when he was a young boy, is living and 94 years old, she said. All the faces in the mural are of actual members of longtime Clinton County farm families.
