Clinton County sheriff’s reports

WILMINGTON — The following information comes from incident reports provided by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office. All those arrested are presumed innocent until possibly found guilty in court.

The sheriff’s office recently processed the following reports:

• At 7:32 a.m. on Sept. 7, a 14-year-old Clarksville male called the sheriff’s office and advised that his mother went to Kentucky two weeks ago and had not returned. He and his 10-year-old brother were alone and both were hungry and had very little food. Clinton County Children Services was contacted and it granted emergency custody of the two boys through the Juvenile Court.

• At 9:04 p.m. on Sept. 3, while performing a traffic stop on U.S. 68 North, deputies discovered a blue metal container with crystal-like residue inside. The vehicle was originally pulled over for a left-of-center violation.

• At 11:02 a.m. on Sept. 4, deputies responded to a gas station on U.S. 22 West in response to a counterfeit $50 bill. Authorities confiscated the bill.

• At 11:05 a.m. on Sept. 6, a 72-year-old Wilmington male reported his revolver was stolen from his residence at the 800 block of West Champlin Road between July 15 and 31.

• At 11:02 a.m. on Sept. 8, a 48-year-old Wilmington male reported his box truck was stolen at the 500 block of Smith Road, Wilmington. The victim stated he saw a bald male enter the truck and drive away without permission at 11 a.m. on Sept. 8.

• At 2:27 a.m. on Sept. 2, deputies responded to the 2100 block of Wayne Road in Wilmington in response to an unidentified suspect who wouldn’t leave the property.

• At 10:42 p.m. on Sept. 1, deputies responded to the 1400 block of Weisflock Road, Lynchburg, in reference to a mailbox being damaged.

• Deputies responded to the 7200 block of State Route 350 West, Clarksville, on a theft report at 5:25 p.m., Sept. 2. According to the report, a 52-year-old male resident stated a 1987 Honda dirt bike was stolen sometime around 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 31 from his driveway.

• While on patrol, a deputy was flagged down by a 41-year-old female at the 1-99 block of West Main Street in Martinsville at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 2. The victim told the deputy several items were stolen from her residence. The report lists a Remington 12-gauge shotgun, a three-in-one gas grill, and an Xbox.

• At 6:36 a.m. on Sept. 3, deputies responded to a possible domestic dispute at the 2000 block of Hale Road, Wilmington.

• At 7 a.m. on Sept. 4, deputies responded to Sugartree Street on a criminal damage report. According to the report, the tires of a vehicle, belonging to a 23-year-old female resident, were damaged.

• At 11:58 a.m. on Sept. 4, a 67-year-old Midland female reported that a contractor she hired to build a room addition onto her house returned items to a store and kept the $896.36 he got. The incident allegedly took place on July 18.

• At 7 p.m. on Sept. 5, deputies arrested a 36-year-old male who allegedly violated a protection order in Midland.

• Deputies responded to a criminal damage report at the 1-99 block of Laurel Drive in Wilmington at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 5. According to the report, the suspect became angry during a class and punched a hole in the wall.

• At 5:08 p.m. on Sept. 5, deputies received a report of a 4-year-old male walking alone in New Vienna. According to the report, the child lived at a residence on East College Street. Nothing else was reported.

• At 5:53 p.m. on Sept. 5, a 57-year-old Clarksville male reported that someone threatened serious physical harm.

• At 12:01 p.m. on Sept. 8, deputies responded to the 1-99 block of Laurel Drive on the report of a student who threatened another student and assaulted three staff members.

• At 2:25 a.m. on Sept. 8, while a deputy was on patrol a Greene County Sheriff’s Office deputy pulled through the state park area off of State Route 380 and New Burlington Road and located a vacated vehicle, according to the report. The vehicle was found to be stolen out of Xenia. No suspects were located at this time.

• At 9:51 p.m. on Sept. 8, deputies witnessed an altercation between two female juveniles at the 100 block of Larrick Road, Sabina. One juvenile reported physical injuries, according to the report. The incident is currently under investigation.

• At 5:44 p.m. on Sept. 9, a 31-year-old Washington Court House male reported a breaking-and-entering and theft at the Clinton County Fairgrounds. According to the report, $1,000 was listed as stolen.

• At 9:42 p.m. on Sept. 10, a 50-year-old Martinsville female reported someone dumped trash at her residence at the 1400 block of McKibben Road.

• At 4:18 a.m. on Sept. 12, while conducting a business check in Liberty Township, a stolen vehicle from Franklin County, Ohio was recovered. This case is pending an investigation.

• At 11:34 a.m. on Sept. 12, a 47-year-old Xenia female advised deputies she was threatened by a suspect.

• At 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 12, a female subject was transported to the jail and was found to be in possession of a marijuana pipe.

• At noon on Sept. 13, a 66-year-old Blanchester male advised a suspect used his car dolly without permission and loaned it to another suspect. Both suspects advised that neither of them had it and were unsure where it was.

Sheriff’s deputies recently charged the following people:

• Brien Miller, 29, of Wilmington, was charged with alleged disorderly conduct.

• Eldon Lamb, 29, of Wilmington, was charged with alleged aggravated drug possession.

• Ronnie Northern, 38, of Clarksville, was charged with alleged domestic violence.

• Jeremy Gaddis, 18, of Martinsville, was charged with alleged drug abuse instrument possession and aggravated drug possession.

• Roger Newsome, 62, of Sabina, was charged with alleged domestic violence.

• Edward Creech, 23, of Clarksville, was charged with alleged theft.

• Cody Gilbert, 23, of Wilmington, was charged with alleged aggravated drug possession.

• Bradley Reid, 21, of Washington Court House, was charged with alleged aggravated drug possession.

• Teffany Payne, 43, of Clarksville, was charged with alleged domestic violence.

• Joel McDonald, 48, of Adrian, Michigan, was charged with alleged aggravated drug possession.

• Matthew Addison, 23, of Martinsville, was charged with allegedly obstructing official business.

• Ann Addison, 21, of Martinsville, was charged with allegedly obstructing official business.
