Sigrid Solomon, Wilmington AM Rotary Club member and Rotary District 6670 Governor for 2019-2020, spoke to AM Rotary Friday morning at the General Denver. Solomon was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and attended boarding school age 15. Solomon holds a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and her M.Ed. from East Carolina University. She has been working in higher education since 1993 and is currently Wilmington College Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students/Title IX Coordinator. Solomon spoke about her life’s journey in higher education, as well as on her upbringing, involvement as a foster parent, and in community service. She is shown with AM Rotary President Chuck Watts.
