WILMINGTON — State Farm is pleased to welcome new agent Carrie Zeigler to its family of Good Neighbor Agents in Wilmington. Carrie Zeigler State Farm Agency, at 40 S. Mulberry St., officially opened its doors on Oct. 1.

Zeigler is a lifelong resident of Wilmington. Prior to State Farm, she worked in education, most recently as an elementary school principal for 18 years in the Wilmington City School District. She has a master’s degree in educational leadership from Kent State University.

Zeigler is excited for this opportunity in insurance and financial services and is looking forward to strengthening relationships with the residents of Clinton County and increasing her involvement within the community.

“State Farm is committed to doing what is right for their clients every day,” she said. “I became an agent to help people prepare for the unexpected, protect what is most important to them and plan for their future.”

Her office includes three staff members — Mike Rupp, Taylor Massie and Leslie Thornton — who are prepared to help customers with their insurance and financial services needs.

Carrie Zeigler State Farm Insurance will be hosting an open house 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 in their newly renovated space on South Mulberry Street.

Zeigler and her family, husband Doug and daughter Jillian (6), are active in the community with school and sports. Carrie Zeigler is a member of the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Clinton-Class of 2018.
