The Wilmington High School Class of 1960 held a 75th birthday party in September featuring a cookout for all class members at Ed Kienle’s house. Attendees were, from left: Carl Grey, John Dehan, Sara Day Burnett, Carol Kohler Nichols, Russ Green, Norma Jean Webb Lind, Melvin Nance, David Bailey, Kathy Schalnat Kingston, Jane Ann Webb Spence, Rosemary Chandler, JoAnn Davis Murphy, John Workman, David Reisinger, Don Maher and Keith Gregory. Door prize winners were Russ Green, Melvin Nance and John Workman. Coming the longest distance was Keith Gregory, from San Diego, California.
