WHS names November Students of the Month

The Wilmington High School Students of the Month for November:

Exceptional Student Education — Cameron Foster

Cameron is a wonderful example of a hard worker. Cameron shows perseverance through his academics daily and strives to be the best he can be. Cameron is always ready to participate in any activities inside or outside of the classroom. Cameron comes in everyday with a positive attitude and shows kindness to all of the people he meets. Thank you Cameron, for always giving your all!

Band — Elizabeth Grimes

The Band program would like to recognize Elizabeth Grimes as the November student of the month. Elizabeth is a member of the Marching Band and Wind Ensemble. She is continuously taking every opportunity to learn, research, and grow as a musician through attending concerts and auditioning for honor bands. Elizabeth is a great example of striving to be her best.

FFA — Curtis Gauche

Simply put, Curtis Cares about the program and it’s members. Curtis was instrumental in cleaning and organizing the shop at the start of the school year. As the Student Advisor, Curtis has been leading the charge to ensure new members get involved and are active.

Gym/Health — Cory Webber

Cory is a great example of someone that tries do his best and encourage others to do theirs also. Cory is always ready to participate in class even through injury. He brings a positive outlook and energy to class everyday. Thanks Cory, keep up the great work.

Science — Allie Kees

The science department would like to nominate Allie for student of the month. Allie is an active participant in both Biology and Chemistry. She values her education and is determine to succeed. Thanks, Allie, for being a model student.

Social Studies — Courtney Palmateer

Courtney has shown several times throughout the first two quarters that she values her education. She is also unafraid to ask for help and unafraid to help her peers. She embodies several key attributes that will serve her well in the future like teamwork, determination, and a stellar work ethic.

English — Colt Smith

Throughout the first half of the semester, Colt has demonstrated incredible work ethic. But even more so than that, he has demonstrated what it means to be a kind and honest student. He consistently puts forth his best effort in all of his school work, but also when it comes to including others and making them feel welcome. His positivity is contagious! Keep it up!

Business — Madison Wilson

The business department would like to nominate Madison Wilson as student of the month. Madison has shown great skill and commitment to high quality work in Computer Applications. Her work is always detail-oriented, and her grade and progress in the class reflect her effort! Nice job and keep up the good work!
