Santa surrounded by smiles at News Journal

0

More than a couple hundred kids (and their adults) and even the Wilmington Fire Department came to the News Journal on South Nelson Avenue Wednesday evening for the annual visit with Santa Claus. Children had their photos taken with Santa (which will also appear in the Dec. 19 News Journal), received candy canes and also did some coloring, while families donated cans of food for Your Father’s Kitchen. Shown, Layla and Colton are dressed up for a visit with Santa. The News Journal staff thanks all who attended, including the fire department which brought one of their trucks. A special thanks goes out to Mike Daugherty for all the (mostly) smiles he elicited from the children as well as the adults. For more photos, please see wnewsj.com.
