WILMINGTON — The Wilmington FFA held their monthly meeting Dec. 5 at Royal-Z Bowling Alley.

The meeting was called to order and discussion began. The room started by reciting the FFA mission statement and then called the role of officers.

The chapter discussed many upcoming events including 212/360. This event takes place in January and many members will be able to attend. This is a leadership event for active FFA members — the National FFA runs a conference that helps members improve their leadership skills.

This will be the first time that the Wilmington FFA Chapter will be in attendance and everyone is really looking forward to it!

Along with discussion on upcoming events, a few amendments were also made to the FFA constitution. The discussions were long and involved, and many new members were given the chance to voice their opinions. The amendments were each voted on and changes were made.

The meeting room then stood to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and the meeting was adjourned
