CM receives grant, funding for new playground

ADAMS TWP. – The Clinton-Massie students and community will soon have a new playground at almost no cost to the school district.

The new playground is being funded through a grant from Game Time and matching funds from the Countryside YMCA in Lebanon. Countryside currently provides a YMCA childcare program housed in the Annex at Clinton-Massie.

“This will be another terrific asset to our students and community,” said Superintendent Matt Baker.

The playground will be on the north side of the middle school near the athletic complex. Baker indicated that this will make it available to the children at the YMCA and be convenient for use by students and families in the community.

Equipment for the new playground has already arrived and is being stored until installation this coming spring as the weather permits.

The Clinton-Massie PTO has also committed funding to offset the cost of installation.

A new playground will be added in spring of 2018 at Clinton-Massie at almost no cost to the school district through a grant from Game Time and matching funds from the YMCA.
