Auto Title Office

to extend hours

Business hours at the county’s Auto Title Office will be extended by half an hour on weekdays, starting Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018.

The new hours will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays (currently, the office closes at 4 p.m. on weekdays).

The Auto Title Office hours for Saturdays will stay the same: 9 a.m. to noon.

Clinton County Clerk of Courts Cynthia R. Bailey said the change was made to better serve customers.

The Auto Title Office is located inside 180 E. Sugartree St. in Wilmington at what is called the County Administration Building. The phone number for the Auto Title Office is 937-382-0375.

Miller earns distinction

at Air Force basic training

U.S. Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Alexander M. Miller graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Miller earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is a son of Jeffrey and Tami Miller, and brother of Ryan Miller of Wilmington.

The airman is a 2016 graduate of Wilmington High School.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
