WILMINGTON — Main Street Wilmington’s downtown trick-or-treat event will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.

This year, there are more than 20 businesses ready to pass out treats to children.

Participants are asked to please come to the mural parking lot to pick up a bag and map, along with some treats and games.

“Then, go and explore Wilmington and find all the candy that businesses have to offer,” said Bekah Muchmore of Main Street Wilmington.

In conjunction with the candy distribution, a “Monster Trunk Show” will be held the same date and time.

“Decorate the trunk of your car to look like the scariest monster in the lot. Judging will start at 2 p.m.,” Muchmore said.
