East Clinton FFA earns firsts in Speaking

Five East Clinton FFA members competed in the Sub-District Public Speaking competition Feb. 8 at Blanchester High School. — Maggie Mathews, Paige Bowman, Carlie Ellis, Sarah Ross and Taylor Boeckmann. Maggie Mathews placed first in the FFA Creed competition while Paige Bowman was third. In the Extemporaneous contest Carlie Ellis also placed first. Taylor Boeckmann placed first in Prepared and Sarah Ross placed third in the Beginning prepared competition. Taylor, Carlie and Maggie will be moving on to district Tuesday, Feb. 13 at Felicity.
