WHS honors Students of the Month

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington High School Students of the Month for April are:

Business Department — Keiarra Huston

The Business Department would like to nominate Keiarra Huston as the Student of the Month for April. Keiarra works hard in the class and creates high quality work. She always has a good attitude! Keep up the good work Keiarra!

English Department — Brogan Back

The English Department would like to recognize Brogan Back as Student of the Month. She is an outstanding student in terms of behavior, responsibility, and work ethic. We appreciate her diligence and positive attitude. She is friendly, organized, and always prepared for class. She is a joy to teach and a blessing to all.

Social Studies Department — Nate Twine

The Social Studies Department would like to nominate Nate Twine as the April Student of the Month. Nate displays great tenacity in completing assignments and thinking outside of the box. Nate works hard and displays the ability to think critically and problem solve, both skills that will serve him well as he progress through school and work.

Math Department — Asia Monroe

Asia has over a 100% average in Math class since her return from a long absence. Asia is proof that attendance matters! Please keep up the good work!

Ag Education Department — Brady Bergefurd

Brady is a senior that has kept himself very busy in the FFA. Along with being an Honor Roll student and district qualified wrestler, Brady has represented the FFA at the National Convention, been on the Soil & Livestock Judging teams, a Student Ambassador for our Officer Interview & Elections, and was the male recipient of the 2018 Tolliver Family Agricultural Scholarship. Brady’s intelligence and drive to be involved has set a great example for all the new members. Brady will be greatly missed in the FFA next year!

Foreign Language Department — Alejandra Espinoza-Allen

The Foreign Language Department would like to recognize Alejandra Espinoza-Allen as their Student of the Month. Alejandra has a strong work ethic. She comes to class prepared, participates in class, completes all of her assignments and is rarely absent. Keep up the good work Alejandra!

Choral Department — Madison Siders

The Choral Department would like to recognize Madison Siders as the Student of the Month for April. Maddie’s quiet confidence and consistency set a great example for her classmates. She has been a faithful member of the robe crew for two years and regularly volunteers to come in early or stay late to organize our robes. Student leadership like Madison’s is uncommon and very welcome in our choirs. She will be missed after graduation!
