Sayers returns with mix of blues. rock, soul

WILMINGTON — Native Texan Hadden Sayers “is just as comfortable on a massive festival stage with a Stratocaster in his hands as he is strumming an acoustic guitar in your living room” — and he’ll nearly as good as in your living room when he returns to the Murphy Theatre stage Saturday night, May 5.

Area residents know him not only from his concerts at the Murphy, but also as part of Phil Dirt & the Dozers who pack the venue every year.

Hadden and his band are masters of their instruments, and he’s passionate about songwriting which twists roots rock, blues and soul music into something completely fresh.

For tickets, visit www.themurphytheatre.org or call 937-382-3643, or stop by the box office 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday-Friday or the day of the show after 5 p.m.
