Talking scholarships at Kiwanis

The Wilmington Kiwanis Club meeting on Thursday, May 17 welcomed guest speaker Brittany Barnett, the club’s 2017 scholarship winner who just completed her freshman year at Wilmington College.

She spoke about her first-year experiences and her major of Early Childhood Development.

The $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a Clinton County high school senior who will be attending either Wilmington College or Southern State.

This year 2018 scholarship winner is Wilmington High School graduating senior Parker Gunkel, who will be attending Wilmington College in the fall.
