CASA Day in Ohio was held recently in Montgomery County to celebrate the volunteers who advocate for children who are abused and neglected. Speakers for the day included Montgomery County Juvenile Court Judge Anthony Capizzi, Montgomery County Administrative Judge Nick Kuntz, County Commissioner Debbie Lieberman, Ohio House Democratic Leader and Ohio Rep. Fred Strahorn, and Helen Thompson, who was reunified with her daughter with the help of a CASA volunteer following a family tragedy.
