ADAMS TWP. — The Clinton-Massie Board Of Education approved the superintendent’s recommendation to hire Aaron Seewer as the next CMHS principal at Monday’s board meeting.

Seewer is from St. Marys, Ohio, and came to Clinton-Massie Local Schools in 2004.

“Aaron is eager to continue to improve the educational experience for students, staff, and all community stakeholders,” said Superintendent Matt Baker.

His first official day in the new role is Aug. 1.

Seewer attended Miami University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Adolescent Social Studies Education with minors in both Political Science and History.

He started at Clinton-Massie Local Schools after he spent his first year in the classroom at Eaton Community Schools.

During his 14 years at Clinton-Massie, he has taught several social studies courses and has spent many years coaching student-athletes. In 2010, he achieved his Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership, and in 2016 he transitioned to the role of Assistant Principal of both Clinton-Massie High School and Middle School.

He resides in Wilmington with his wife Ashley, who teaches Spanish at Clinton-Massie High School. They will be joined at CMLSD by their three children — Ava, 8, Anslee, 6, and Anden, 6.
