Vital Fitness hosted a Boot Camp for Breast Cancer Oct. 31, raising more than $600 for local resident Shannon Meyer, who is fighting breast cancer. More than 30 people attended. They showed up dressed in pink and wearing the traditional pink breast cancer ribbons and ready to workout.

“I was very excited to have such a great turnout for this event,” said Amy Zimmerman, owner of Vital Fitness. “We hope this money, along with our prayers and well-wishes can make a small difference to the Meyer family and bring further awareness to our community about breast cancer.”

Vital Fitness is at 1050 Prairie Ave., Wilmington. For more information about the facility and what it offers, see www.vitalohio.com.
