21 sentenced in Clinton County Municipal Court

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by the Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the name of the defendant, age, location (if listed), charge disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Court Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which handles misdemeanors, traffic cases and some civil cases. Only the criminal misdemeanors are included here.

The following pled guilty or were found guilty of crimes from Nov. 2 to Nov. 6:

  • Dakota Wilson, 19, Morrow, underage consumption. Sentencing stayed to allow defendant to complete diversion.
  • Dustin Vice, 19, Morrow, underage consumption. Sentencing stayed to allow defendant to complete diversion.
  • Stephanie Brinkman, 18, Morrow, underage consumption. Sentencing stayed to allow defendant to complete diversion.
  • Thomas Keating, 20, Mount Vernon, underage consumption. Sentencing stayed to allow defendant to complete SAQ assessment.
  • April Shade, 19, New Vienna, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $100 court costs. Charge was amended from possession of a drug abuse instrument, a misdemeanor in the second degree.
  • Travis Green, 31, Wilmington, falsification, two counts possession of a drug abuse instrument, sentenced 360 days jail (suspended), fined $1500, assessed $300 court costs. Defendant to do supervised probation and alcohol and drug treatment. If compliant, court will suspend $500 of fine.
  • Genesis Rocks, 20, Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $105 court costs.
  • John Hensley, 42, Clarksville, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $100 court costs.
  • Mark Leasher, 49, Midland, possession of marijuana, fined $50, assessed $100 court costs.
  • Clinton Kepler, 20, Sabina, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, fined $50, assessed $200 court costs, driver’s license suspended six months.
  • Isac Soale, 18, Sabina, drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, fined $50, assessed $200 court costs, driver’s license suspended six months.
  • Seth Farley, 18, Sabina, drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, fined $50, assessed $200 court costs, driver’s license suspended six months. Defendant must pay costs only.
  • Kelly Schutte, 35, New Vienna, obstructing official business, sentenced 90 days jail (suspended), fined $1000, assessed $100 court costs. Defendant must do 40 hours community service.
  • Jeanine Offor, 40, Wilmington, assault, assessed $100 court costs. Restitution is paid so defendant must pay costs.
  • Patricia Wood, 33, Wilmington, theft, sentenced 20 days jail, fined $250, assessed $100 court costs. Defendant must do supervised probation.
  • Edward Roberts, 38, Wilmington, obstructing official business, sentenced 90 days jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $100 court costs. Defendant must do 30 hours of community service.
  • Frank Moore, 43, Wilmington, possession of a drug abuse instrument, sentenced 90 days jail (suspended), fined $750, assessed $100 court costs. If defendant is compliant, court will suspend $500 of fine.
  • Matthew Lane, 29, criminal mischief, assault, sentenced 240 days jail (suspended), fined $1500, assessed $200 court costs. Defendant must do supervised probation. Another charge of aggravated menacing was dismissed.
  • Ronald Blackburn, 55, Clarksville, domestic violence, sentenced 180 days jail (90 suspended), assessed $100 court costs. Charge was amended from a felony in the fourth degree. Defendant must do supervised probation, pay costs only, complete domestic violence and mental health treatment and have no contact with a certain person.
  • Daniel Minner, 32, Wilmington, disorderly conduct, assessed $100 court costs. Defendant must pay costs only. Another charge of menacing was dismissed.
  • Jackson Creamer, 34, Sabina, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $100 court costs. Charge was amended from menacing, a misdemeanor in the fourth degree.

The following had charges dismissed:

  • James Pagett, 20, Wilmington, assault; charge dismissed at the request of the city police department.
  • Kyle Goings, 32, Wilmington, domestic violence; charge dismissed.
  • Danielle Ferguson, 24, possession of marijuana; charge dismissed without prejudice.
  • Tyler Mason, 19, Wilmington, underage consumption; charge dismissed as defendant has completed a class. Defendant must pay $100 in assessed court costs.
  • Merion Smith, 49, Hillsboro, receiving stolen property; charge dismissed on the condition defendant pays $400 restitution to the clerk of court and pay $100 in court costs.

Also in Municipal Court:

  • Kyle Goings, 32, Wilmington, domestic violence. Preliminary hearing was waived.
  • Sarah Clark, 28, Wilmington, receiving stolen property. Preliminary hearing was waived.
