ST. MARTIN — Loucretia Wylie has joined Chatfield College as coordinator of institutional assessment and effectiveness at both the Brown County and Over-the-Rhine campuses.

Wylie will be responsible for guiding Chatfield to a new level of student support and success, stated a media release from Chatfield.

She has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and middle school English education from Midway College. She also holds a master’s of arts in teaching in secondary English education and a master’s of arts in communications from Morehead State University.

With about 15 years experience in education with a majority of that in post-secondary education, Chatfield officials said she will be a great asset to the faculty.

She has also worked in the private sector, with experience in educational outreach and public television.

From 2014 to 2016, Wylie was employed by Chatfield as an adjunct instructor, teaching both English and theater arts classes.

Her “Improv” class was a favorite with students, who performed for the Chatfield community as part of their class project.

“I am thrilled to be back at Chatfield and in a full-time position. Chatfield is a place that has been in my heart from the first time I set foot on campus. I hope that I can fulfill our mission, the mission of community colleges, and serve our students in a profound way,” said Wylie.
