CLINTON CO. — Cowan Lake State Park’s 50th Birthday Bash will feature a bevy of family fun activities at the Cowan Lake Fest this weekend.
Activities will include youth fishing, paddle races, sailing kayaks, stand up paddle boarding, yoga on the beach, square dancing, sand volleyball, and a large slip-and-slide activity for children of all ages. There will also be a farm market, food trucks and music by the bonfire.
The celebration, sponsored by the nonprofit Friends Caring for Cowan Lake, kicks off at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21 and runs through Sunday afternoon, July 22.
