Busy summer for East Clinton FFA

0

The East Clinton FFA had a busy summer by helping out at the State Fair Pork Producers Booth and attending the Washington Leadership Conference.

On Aug. 1 the East Clinton FFA took a trip to the Ohio State Fair to work with Premier Feed and help the Ohio Pork Producers.

Sarah Ross, Trenton Garen, Carter Carey, Rheanna McQueen, Holly Bernard, Bailey Corcoran, Ashley Kinner, Shelby Williams, Grace Cooper, Dakota Zurface and the Louk family all volunteered to help out. At the booth, the FFA members prepared many different kinds of pork sandwiches and wraps for customers.

After a long hard day of work, the FFA members received much positive support from the pork producers.

Also during the summer, three of our chapters members — Austin Rolfe, Nathan Vest and Logan McPherson — attended the Washington Leadership Conference (WLC).

At the conference, the three officers were able to learn what it means to be a leader and how to work together as a team. They made many new friendships, and many forever memories. They also were able to visit many attractions such as the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, Ford’s Theatre, the Holocaust Museum and Gettysburg. ]

The FFA chapter would like to thank East Clinton Schools for this opportunity.
