EC FFA does clean-up, Corn Festival

0

The East Clinton FFA Chapter set up their annual petting zoo at the Corn Festival during the first weekend in September.

The festival was a success for the chapter; many chapter members brought their animals in such as goats, pigs, rabbits, miniature horses, donkeys and chickens.

In addition to the animals, the chapter also hosted a Children’s Corner where they had crafts that children could come and make with the chapter members. There were many people who came up to the chapter members and thanked them for putting on the great event.

Also, members of the chapter participated in their annual Adopt-A-Highway roadside clean-up. The chapter is in charge of cleaning up and taking care of an area of SR 729 by the school.

Each year members earn community service credit for helping out and cleaning up our adopted area of that road.
