2 roads closing for 5 weeks

Both Jenkins Road and Hamilton Road will be closed approximately five weeks for bridge maintenance projects beginning Monday, Oct. 1, weather permitting, the Clinton County Engineer’s Office announced.

Jenkins Road will be closed for a bridge replacement located between Old SR 73 and Farmers Road in Union Township.

The last address accessible from the north (Old SR 73) is 1410 Jenkins Road. The last address accessible from the south (Farmers Road) is 2207 Jenkins Road.

Hamilton Road will be closed for a bridge replacement, which is located between Moore Road and Larrick Road in Wayne Township.

The last address accessible from the north (Larrick Road) is 741 Hamilton Road. There are no houses between the bridge and Moore Road to the south.
