SATH (Supplementary Assistance to the Handicapped) will be holding its 7th Annual 5K Run & Fun Walk on Saturday Oct. 27 at Rocky Fork State Park in Hillsboro.

Walkers, runners and wheelchairs are invited to come out and help Kamp Dovetail with their support. Medals will be given to the top three individuals in men’s, women’s and youth category. Tickets will be available to purchase for raffle prizea.

Kamp Dovetail is a five-day and four-night summer camp for children with special needs held the third week of June at Rocky Fork State Park. This past year over 750 individuals which included children with special needs, volunteer and staff members enjoyed a fun-filled week of outdoor camping experiences.

SATH underwrites the cost of Kamp Dovetail through donations obtained by fundraising events such as the 5K Run & Fun Walk.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the Dovetail Activity Area. The race will start at 10 a.m.

Registration for the Halloween Hustle is $25 pre-register and $30 the day of the race. Cost includes a t-shirt. Please register by Oct. 19 atwww.kampdovetail.com
