Blanchester to flush hydrants

The Blanchester Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants beginning Monday, Oct. 8 and every day through Friday, Oct. 12.

The water may turn colors during these dates. If water has color, let your faucet run until the water clears up.

Moore earns NAFIC honor

Matthew Moore of Modern Woodmen of America in Wilmington has been awarded the Chairman’s Council Award by the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counselors, a professional insurance association with over 2,500 members.

The Chairman’s Council is NAFIC’s highest award, given “only to those agents who have excelled at the very highest level of service to their Society” and “who have earned a high level of sales based on 25 life insurance policies written totaling $2 million or more.”
