Throwback Thursday: “Bomber girl”

The only thing we know about this photo is that someone wrote “bomber girl” on the back. Was it taken at Clinton County Air Force Base? Any idea who the woman is? Let us know at info@wnewsj.com. Regarding last week’s photo of the Mel-O-Dee restaurant, Susan Gregory Henry shared, “I have memories of the Mel-O-Dee. Inside, I remember the marshmallow cokes — when you put a straw in them, you had to start sucking fast before there was an explosion of marshmallow all over the table. Outside, we would back into parking places so we could watch the ‘cruisers’ go around and around. Those were our high school days in the early to mid ’60s!”
