Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, the Republican candidate for governor in the Nov. 6 election, visited Wilmington early Friday afternoon, stopping by Sams Meats & Deli on West Locust Street to speak with the lunch crowd. DeWine had earlier stopped in Highland County, and would later head for Lebanon to attend the evening event with fellow Republican, President Donald Trump.
