Barbara Morris was the hostess for the Oct. 23 meeting of Wilson Homemakers.

Esther Combs presided over the meeting. Barbara Morris gave the thought for the day reading quotes about traveling. She then asked members to answer roll call by naming a place they would like to visit.

Plans for making the name tags for the upcoming county Christmas auction were discussed. Members had been asked to bring samples of items they collect. Some items shared were Hummel figurines, gingerbread items, wolf items, iron banks, kaleidoscopes, and dachshunds of all sizes.

The hostess then served pumpkin pie and apple pie, fruit, and cider to Sue Kenny, Judy Laycock, Ruth Dawson, Bonnie Starcher, Esther Combs and Jean Luttrell,
