An Ohio Republican Party slate card recently mailed to citizens statewide contains an important error.

“Let me make clear, you can NOT take your absentee ballot to your polling place on November 6 and turn it in” despite what it states on the card, said Clinton County GOP Chairman Tim Inwood in a message to local Republicans and to the News Journal. “It will not be counted if you do. You must get it in the mail before then or just plan to vote provisionally on November 6.”

He added that you CAN turn in your absentee ballot Nov. 6 at the Clinton County Board of Elections office at the courthouse.
