LEES CREEK — For well over 50 years the Lees Creek United Church of Christ has been serving chicken n’ noodle dinners and sandwich suppers on the November Election Day.

This year, the fourth and fifth generations of the church families are planning, preparing and serving the food for the community. Along with the traditional chicken n’ noodles, the noon meal will include mashed potatoes, seasoned green beans, apple sauce, rolls, dessert and beverages. The meal will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m; adults $8, children $4.

Come back in the evening 5-7 p.m. for Sloppy Joe sandwiches and maybe there will be some noon meal leftovers. All foods at the evening meal are priced ala carte.

Carry-out meals will be available. Call ahead between 9-11 a.m. to place carry-out orders for noon meal.
