ADAMS TOWNSHIP — Clinton-Massie will hold a Veterans Day celebration on Monday, Nov. 12 at the middle and high schools.

The event is meant to be a time of remembering, honoring, and celebrating the men and women who have served the United States.

Military veterans who live in the school district and also throughout Clinton County are invited to join Clinton-Massie students and staff.

The agenda: From 9 to 10 a.m., there will be a reception at the high school auditeria and tour of the Veterans Memorial located on the school grounds; from 10 to 11 a.m., there will be a Veterans Day assembly in the high school gymnasium; and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., veterans can eat lunch with students on the high school auditeria stage.

“Please feel free to stay and join our students for lunch and discussion. A special area has been reserved for students to sit and dine with you,” stated a flyer.

Veterans can participate in all or part of the activities.

The keynote speaker will be Ret. GYSGT Chris Bussler, author of “No Tougher Duty, No Greater Honor: A Memoir of a Mortuary Affairs Marine”.

For the convenience of the veterans, there will be reserved parking in front of the high school and middle school, 2556 Lebanon Road in Clinton County.

If you plan to attend (or have questions), please RSVP for adequate preparations, and either call the middle school office at 937-289-2932 or the high school office at 937-289-2109.
