Merchants National Bank proudly sponsored the 2018 Backyard Bash — Wilmington vs. Clinton-Massie in football — held at Clinton-Massie High School on Oct. 26.

As part of the evening’s festivities, Merchants presented donations totaling $2,000.

Each of the following organizations received $500 from Merchants: Wilmington City Schools Foundation, Wilmington City Schools Athletic Department, Clinton-Massie Schools Foundation, and Clinton-Massie Schools Athletic Department.

In addition to the monetary donations, Merchants National Bank employees worked in the concession stand, allowing parents to take a night off to watch their child.

“The resources provided to students by the foundations and athletic departments are invaluable. Merchants proudly invests in the communities we serve and we are honored to provide financial support to these organizations,” said Denise Fauber, Vice President of Branch Administration.

Merchants National Bank recently opened their first location in Wilmington (1288 Wayne Road) and will be opening their second location (2829 Rombach Ave.) in January. For more information visit www.merchantsnat.com.
