Busy times for Wilmington FFA

WILMINGTON — November was been a busy month for FFA leadership development events.

In early November, we traveled for a sub-district job interview contest with five members participating — Mason Snyder, Rachael Billups, Rachel Lowe, Madison Gilbert and Ryan Lewis.

Rachael Billups was the only member to move on to districts. She has participated in this contest for four years and was glad she could finish that contest with a bang.

Later on in the month, the chapter took a freshman team and an advance team to the parliamentary procedure contest. Both teams had been practicing for months, staying late after school and coming to school early.

Both teams placed third in their division.

The chapter is settling down in December, working on fruit sale pick-up and celebrating the holidays.
