WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department has recognized three of its members for their outstanding work in 2018.

During the WPD’s annual awards banquet, Ptl. Codey Juillerat was recognized as Officer of Year for 2018.

“Ptl. Codey Juillerat is an exceptional officer and always goes the extra mile for our citizens,” said Police Chief Duane Weyand. “I receive a lot of positive feedback for his hard work.”

Communications Officer Robin Cassell was recognized for her outstanding work. “She is always positive and helpful to our citizens when they call for assistance,” said Weyand.

“She has done an incredible job providing medical service over the phone and handling critical situations.”

The WPD recognized Ptl. Darcie Mayberry for her outstanding work.

“She has been exceptionally diligent in her patrol work and has gone above and beyond the call of duty to solve her calls that she has handled,” said Weyand.

“We can’t thank these officers enough for their contribution to our city,” he added.
