Several members representing the Wilmington Kiwanis Club attended the Division 4 Council meeting in Kettering on Dec. 9.

At the banquet members heard from Ohio District Kiwanis Governor Amy Zimmerman from Cincinnati. She explained her agenda for the year and updated everyone on the international project, Eliminate, which is eradicating maternal and neonatal tetanus. Representing other parts of the Kiwanis family were Aktion Club Advisor Sarah Needham and member Frank Powell.

If you are interested in joining The Wilmington Kiwanis Club, please contact President Vermon L. Dillon at 937-382-9636. The club meetings are on first and third Thursdays at 11:45 a.m. at the Wilmington Presbyterian Church at 840 Timber Glen Drive. The community is welcome to attend.
