The East Clinton FFA chapter had a busy week Feb. 18-22.

On Tuesday the 19th, the chapter showed their support for their favorite farming equipment brand by wearing the colors corresponding to the brand. John Deere took an overwhelming win with a sea of green in the chapter.

The officer team as well as active members of the chapter took a day trip to the Nike Center in Wilmington. There, they did an array of crafts with the members of the center.

On Wednesday, the chapter wore flannels to school, and they also had a fun-filled meeting at Royal Z Lanes, where members bowled and enjoyed pizza that the chapter paid for.

The chapter showed their appreciation for the teachers at East Clinton Thursday morning by providing a full breakfast buffet and serving it to all the teachers. Many thanks were given by the teachers.

Finally, on Friday, the chapter wrapped up their FFA week by hosting a “drive your truck and tractor to school day” as well as a donkey ball tournament fundraiser.

The fundraiser brought many of the community members together to enjoy a night of laughs and good memories.
