Clinton County Amateur Radio Association offers Technician class

WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Amateur Radio Association (CCARA) will be holding a Technician license class beginning March 3 running through the end of April.

This is an excellent hobby for you and your family; young adults are more than welcome. If you have been thinking about getting an amateur radio license to get on the air, now is your chance.

The class will be held at the Foster J. Boyd, M.D. Regional Cancer Center, 31 Farquhar Ave. The training will be from 2-5 p.m. on Sundays, except for Easter Sunday (April 21).

The class will be free, but you will need to purchase a book. On April 28 there will be a review followed by a test session. Anyone wishing to test, even those not attending the class, are welcome.

If you have any questions, or need help understanding or just some friendly support, CCARA will be there for you.

For information, call Paul Jellison at 937-556-5419.
