WILMINGTON — Art classes from grades K-2 at Holmes Elementary School participated in the 2019 Earth Day poster contest presented by the Clinton County Solid Waste Management District. All posters represented the theme of recycling or of litter prevention.

Classroom winners will have their posters hung at the courthouse in downtown Wilmington and will be on display beginning Wednesday, March 6 for about 2-3 weeks.

The awards program for county winners is planned for 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 14.

Holmes Elementary artists also displayed work in an art exhibit hosted at Ohio Living Cape May Feb. 22-23. The Cape May art show is an annual event which presents student artwork along with artwork created by the resident artists at Cape May.

Congratulations to the young artists that attended this event.
