Candidates forum set

A Candidates Forum featuring candidates for the contested May Primary Election races for mayor of Wilmington and for 1st Ward city councilmember will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at the World Equestrian Center.

Swinderman graduates

Morgan Rae Swinderman of Blanchester received a Bachelor of Individual Studies degree during the December commencement at Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Locals earn CU honors

Heather Fryman of Wilmington was named to the Capital University President’s List for the fall 2018 semester for achieving a grade point average of at least 3.85.

Three local students were named to the Provost’s List with a grade point average of at least 3.7 — Daniel Andrews and Morgan Bahr of Wilmington and Trevin Simmons of Lynchburg.
