Orion recognized for excellence

WILMINGTON — Person Centered Services, Inc. (PCS) recognized the leadership and staff at the PCS Orion Career and Life Enrichment Center for their outstanding service to individuals with disabilities by naming Orion as the Center of the Quarter.

The PCS Orion center provides and coordinates person centered opportunities for meaningful integrated pre-vocational, recreational, leisure, social, volunteer and educational activities for individuals with disabilities to enhance individual career opportunities. The facility is located at 4595 State Route 730, Wilmington and serves more than 80 Clinton County individuals in a variety of these programs.

PCS President Ken Albert said Orion “embodies the core values and vision of Person Centered Services by ensuring choice, developing independence, and maximizing the skill set for each individual.”

“Thanks to a dedicated staff at Orion, Person Centered Services continues to flourish because it fulfills its goals: to enrich the quality of life of adults with disabilities with activities and choices that empower them to be creative, conquer skills that result in a sense of worth, and enables everyone to maximize their excitement of the world around them.”

PCS serves more than 300 adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in nine centers across Ohio.
