East Clinton FFA holds 51st banquet

LEES CREEK — The East Clinton FFA chapter held its 51st annual Parent-Member Banquet on April 15.

There were approximately 76 members and more than 250 guests present.

Several students were recognized for different CDE events including the national dairy, rural soils, urban soils, forestry, East Clinton’s national senior parliamentary procedure team, junior parliamentary procedure team, food science, greenhand quiz, job interview, ag sales, public speaking, tractor trouble shooting, small engines, dairy judging, livestock judging, dairy foods, and equine.

Awards were also given for students with perfect attendance, chapter scholars, top 10 fruit sellers, state degree recipients, and SAE proficiency awards.

Honorary chapter awards were presented to Bryan and Jerrie Bronson and James and Anne Woodruff for their hard work in helping out the FFA chapter during the entire year, stated a media release.
