Sunny Collins Massage Therapy debuts

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a ribbon-cutting for Sunny Collins Massage Therapy at 26 N. South St.in Wilmington at noon on Saturday, Nov. 30.

There will be a full day of events celebrating the grand opening.

“Sunny has spent years building her clientele at the Beauty Bar Salon & Spa,” said Dessie Rogers, Executive Director of the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce. “This is an exciting next step for her to venture out on her own, while remaining in downtown Wilmington.”

Collins is kicking off her downtown presence in style, with gift certificate specials from noon to 6 p.m., a book signing with Rita Haley Butcher, author of “Growing Up in a Place Called ‘Port’”, and Pat Haley, author of “The Danes Murders: Lost Innocence in Lees Creek”, from noon to 5 p.m., and a pop-up shop with Jami Farrington’s Freakin’ Penny Boutique from 4-7 p.m.

Collins is participating in the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce’s $25 Days of Christmas promotion. That commitment also factored into the decision to host her grand opening on Nov. 30 to coincide with Hometown HoliDazzle, organized by Main Street Wilmington, and Shop Small Saturday, a nationwide event celebrating and supporting small locally owned businesses.

In recognition of that day, clients and shoppers will receive double entries in the $25 Days of Christmas, making the whole event a wonderful opportunity to welcome a new business to the downtown, support local business, shop for the holiday gift-giving season, and possibly win something special for yourself.

Massage therapy appointments can be made by calling 937-725-6628 or online at Facebook.com/sunnycollinslmt or sunnycollins.massagetherapy.com .
