WILMINGTON — The News Journal recently welcomed two media sales executives to their team, Emily Osborne and Autumn Allen.

“We’re happy to welcome two new sales representatives to the News Journal team,” said Media Sales Director Elizabeth Mattingly. “They have really embraced the position and both are eager and excited to get out there and help their clients build their customer base.

“With our new digital offerings and print specials in hand, they have really hit the ground running and are out to really help out our community.”

Emily Osborne was born in Maine but was raised in New Vienna. She graduated from East Clinton High School and went to Southern State Community College and Susquehanna University.

“I was raised throughout the Clinton County area, so I feel very at home and comfortable when I get this great opportunity to go out and work with all the great people of this community,” said Osborne.

“It’s also an honor to be a part of the Leadership Clinton this year,” she added. “I’m very excited for this new journey. I’m a mother to a beautiful little girl Grace, who is 5 years old, and fiancée to Justin Strous, so outside of work spending time with my family is what I love to do.”

Autumn Allen was born in Georgia but was raised in Wilmington.

She graduated from Wilmington High School and attended Wilmington College.

“I’ve grown up in this community, so I have a pretty good feel on everyone when I go out to meet them,” Allen said. “I have a big family and that’s where most of my time is spent outside of work. I also grew up going to Wilmington Church Of God and I spend a lot of time with the youth group.”

In her spare time she enjoys playing softball (shortstop), and, “I love to sing; I’m not really good at it, but I sing anyway!”
