Cornettes to observe 50th anniversary

Sue and Woody Cornette of Wilmington will be married for 50 years come mid-September, and will hold an open-house celebration on Monday, Sept. 3 at their residence.

On Sept. 13, 1968 Woody Cornette and Sue Harrison were united in marriage at the Villars Chapel Church in Clinton County by Rev. Bill Merriman.

They have a son, Woody Cornette II of Cincinnati.

Mr. Cornette is retired from General Motors in Dayton, and Mrs. Cornette is retired from Bush Truck Leasing.

Please join the Cornettes to celebrate their milestone anniversary between 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3 (Labor Day) at their home, located at 61 Jesse Drive, Wilmington. There will be light refreshments.
